Editor/Author Biographies
Vasilii Erokhin is an Associate Professor, School of Economics and Management, Harbin Engineering University, China. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics and Management (2006) and a Specialist degree in International Economics (2003) from Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russia. Spheres of scientific interests include international trade, globalization, trade integration and liberalization, sustainable development, food security issues with a focus on emerging markets, developing countries, and economies in transition. Vasilii Erokhin is an author of over 150 scientific works in international economics, international trade, sustainable rural development, and regionalization, including 6 books, 10 monographs, over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings (the USA, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia). Vasilii Erokhin is an editor of the IGI Global book Global Perspectives on Trade Integration and Economies in Transition (2016). He is also an author of the Series “International Trade from a Russian Perspective” (2014), published online by HSTalks, London. Vasilii Erokhin is a winner of the 3rd All-Russian competition of business ideas and projects “Creation of Future Russia”, project “Efficiency Increasing of the Regional Entrepreneurship in the Conditions of the World Trade Organization Accession” and a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Potanin’s Charity Fund among young teachers (2009). Since 2016, Vasilii Erokhin is also a researcher at the Polar Development and Northeast Asian Economic Research Center (PAERC), China and a Specially Invited Expert at the Association of International Economics and Trade of Heilongjiang Province, China.
