Ahmed Karmaoui started his academic career as Research Fellow at Cadi Ayyad University and awarded Ph.D. from the Faculty of Semlalia (UCA); graduated from Publons Academy, and awarded Top 1% of international Reviewers (2018) by Publons. He has published various peer-reviewed international journal articles, book chapters, and books on a range of environmental topics. He is currently the president of the Southern Center for Culture and Science, Morocco, and an assistant professor at FSTE (UMI). Broad areas of his research interests include ecosystem services assessment.
Abdelkrim Ben Salem is an Assistant Professor of Ecology and Environment in the Mohammed V University, Faculty of Sciences Rabat, Department of Biology. He joined the University of Mohammed V after ten years as a teacher of qualifying secondary education in Draa Tafilalet Academy. Broadly, her methodological research focuses on vulnerability and adaptation to climate change and valuation of ecosystem services. Within, Ben Salem is currently working on socioeconomic vulnerability of the agriculture and water sector to climate change. He has published interdisciplinary projects across varied outlets, including, Parasites & Vectors Journal, International Journal of Water Resources and Arid Environments and International Publisher of Information Science and Technology Research (IGI-Global).
