Regarding chapter 14, "Stakeholder Information Flow From Horse Entrepreneurs to Customers: Preliminary Study of Prevention of Equine Infectious Diseases":

"Preliminary study of prevention of equine infectious diseases is a study of behavior of horse entrepreneurs when they bio protect their horse business against infectious diseases. The results show that biosecurity in horse premises needs more attention come from both horse entrepreneurs and authorities. In biosecurity context each horse entrepreneur can utilize the concept of management of their stakeholder, customers and achieve a better biosecurity level. Finally, both entrepreneurs and customers benefits the diseases-free horses and for both the chapter can give an experience of new biosecurity framework."

Editor/Author Biographies

Brizeida R. Hernández-Sánchez is university professor. She has an International Doctorate from the University of Salamanca, Spain. She is Academic coordinator of training programs in entrepreneurship, Chair of Entrepreneurs the University of Salamanca. She is part of the GIR-IDEM research team. Her main research interests are entrepreneurial education, educational methodologies, education and vulnerable risks. Her works are published in journals such as: Frontiers, IGI Global, Springer, administrative science.

José C. Sánchez-García is Full Professor at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He received his PhD in Psychology from Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. She is Director of the Chair of Entrepreneurship at the University of Salamanca. He is the coordinator of the doctoral program in Psychology, and director of the IDEM research group. His main research interests are: International Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Education, and Sustainable Entrepreneurship. His work has been published in diverse peer-reviewed journals. He is reviewer of different Entrepreneurship Research Networks journals.

António Carrizo Moreira obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Management, both from the University of Porto, Portugal. He received his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Manchester, England. He has a solid international background in industry leveraged working for a multinational company in Germany as well as in Portugal. He has also been involved in consultancy projects and research activities. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, and Tourism, University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he is the Director of the PhD program in Economics and Management Studies. He is member of GOVCOPP research unit.
