Elham Aljaaly is an Associate Professor at the Clinical Nutrition Department of King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia and a Consultant in Clinical Nutrition (SCFHS). A member in different organizations e.g. “American Society for Nutrition and “The Canadian Obesity Network”. An editorial member in the Arab Journal of Nutrition and Exercise (AJNE) and the Journalism of mass communication. A regular reviewer for many institutions/organizations & Journals including e.g. the Bulletin of the World Health Organization; King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). Dr. Aljaaly is the first graduate Saudi Dietitian from the King Saud Clinical Nutrition Programme in Riyadh, SA who practiced the profession. Holding a M.Sc. in Human Nutrition from University of Sheffield, UK and PhD in Community Nutrition, Media Nutrition and International Health & Development from University College London (UCL), UK. Elham also done Post-Doctoral Fellowships Programs: In Clinical Nutrition at GOSH and in Nutrition & Public Health (University of Westminster). Has a house of Experience: “The Professionalism for Clinical Nutrition”.
Rouba Khalil Naaman, MSc, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Clinical Nutrition Department at King Abdulaziz University. Her research interests involve assessing the effect of dietary interventions on health related problems and investigating nutritional and lifestyle factors influencing healthy aging. She is interested in identifying action steps that individuals can take to maintain their health and function as they get older. Dr. Naaman earned her Masters and PhD degrees in clinical nutrition from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. She has worked in coordinating and delivering lectures on Medical Nutrition Therapy for clinical nutrition students since 2018. Dr. Naaman has several publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
Manar Abduljalil Bakhsh is a lecturer in the Clinical Nutrition Department at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. She has been involved in teaching many courses including Nutrition During Life Cycle and Medical Nutrition Therapy. Mrs. Bakhsh holds a MSc degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and a diploma in holistic nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Canada. She spent her training years in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children, Canada. Her research interests include pediatric, neonatal, and maternal nutrition.
