Editor/Author Biographies
Nedeljko Cvejic received the Dipl-Ing in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2000, and the DrTech degree from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he was a research scientist at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland. He is currently a research associate with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. His research interests include digital watermarking, image and video fusion, and sensor networks.
Tapio Seppänen received MSc degree in electrical engineering in 1985, and the PhD in computer engineering in 1990, from the University of Oulu, Finland. Currently he is serving as a full professor at the same university. He teaches and conducts research on multimedia signal processing and biomedical signal processing. Special interests include digital watermarking, pattern recognition applications, and content-based multimedia retrieval. He has contributed to some 250 scientific journal and conference papers.
