Dr. R. Keshavamurthy is a full time professor and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. He has completed Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering followed by Masters of Technology in Manufacturing Science and Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career as Research Associate in 2007, followed by Scientist at Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) (GOI) Bangalore, in Rapid manufacturing division and presently working at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. He has been a recipient of many sponsored research projects as Principal Investigator which was mainly sponsored by SERB, Dept. of Science & Technology, GOI, VGST Govt. Of Karnataka and AICTE, New Delhi. Under his guidance more than 10 batches of students have obtained sponsored research grant from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology. His patents are also numerous and one being in the field of Additive Manufacturing. He has guided numerous PhD, postgraduate and graduate students. He is a lifetime member of numerous professional bodies. He is recipient of numerous awards and also Gold medalist for securing highest percent in Master of Technology. He is editorial member and reviewer of numerous reputed journals. He has more than 150 research articles publication in journals and conferences and authored more than 20 book chapters. He has lifelong citations of 2224 and has h-index of 27.
Vijay Tambrallimath completed his Bachelor of Engineering from VTU, Karnataka, India in 2011 and Master of Technology from VTU, Karnataka, India in 2013. PhD in synthesis and characterization of polymer composites developed by 3D printing technology was completed in Bangalore, India in 2020. He is recipient of numerous best research paper awards in international conferences. He has been a reviewer at Scopus journals in the field of Additive Manufacturing and composites. He has published more than 25 research papers and 8 book chapters till date. To his credit he has a granted Australian Patent in the field of Additive Manufacturing and one published patent in Indian Patent Office. He has a research grant in the field of Additive Manufacturing. Also he has been an invited speaker in national level faculty development program in the field of Additive Manufacturing. He has extensive international research collaborations at his very young age.
J. Paulo Davim (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5659-3111) received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (materials and manufacturing processes) in 1991, Mechanical Engineering degree (5 years) in 1986, from the University of Porto (FEUP), the Aggregate title (Full Habilitation) from the University of Coimbra in 2005 and the D.Sc. from London Metropolitan University in 2013. He is Senior Chartered Engineer by the Portuguese Institution of Engineers with an MBA and Specialist title in Engineering and Industrial Management. He is also Eur Ing by FEANI-Brussels and Fellow (FIET) by IET-London. Currently, he is Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, with special emphasis in Machining & Tribology. He also has an interest in Management, Engineering Education and Higher Education for Sustainability. He has guided large numbers of postdoc, Ph.D. and master’s students, as well as has coordinated and participated in several financed research projects. He has received several scientific awards. He has worked as evaluator of projects for ERC-European Research Council and other international research agencies as well as examiner of Ph.D. thesis for many universities in different countries. He is the Editor in Chief of several international journals, Guest Editor of journals, books Editor, book Series Editor and Scientific Advisor for many international journals and conferences. Presently, he is an Editorial Board member of 30 international journals and acts as reviewer for more than 100 prestigious Web of Science journals. In addition, he has also published as editor (and co-editor) more than 120 books and as author (and co-author) more than 10 books, 80 book chapters and 400 articles in journals and conferences (more than 250 articles in journals indexed in Web of Science core collection/h-index 52+/9000+ citations, SCOPUS/h-index 57+/11000+ citations, Google Scholar/h-index 73+/17000+).
