Editor/Author Biographies
Kiran Mehta (Ph.D.) is an educator, trainer, consultant, and researcher. She has almost twenty years of experience. She has published several research articles in a variety of international publications, including Emerald, Taylor & Francis, and Sage. She is the author of “Financial Services,” a textbook published by CENGAGE. She has created study materials for a number of Indian institutes. Her areas of interest include climate finance, sustainable business, portfolio management, stock market efficiency, technology and education, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
Renuka Sharma is a Professor (Finance) at Chitkara Business School at Chitkara University in Punjab. She has over 18 years of teaching and research experience (more than ten years post-doctoral and eight years before to obtaining her PhD). She has authored numerous research papers, a few of which have been published in international/national journals (Taylor&Francis, Emerald, Sage, Inderscience, etc.) and the rest have been presented at international/national conferences (IIM Bangalore, Shillong, Calcutta, Indore, and Kozhikode, among others), with numerous papers selected for Best Paper Awards. She also serves as a reviewer for numerous prestigious journals published by Emerald, Elsevier, and Inderscience, among others. Currently, she is guiding two PhD scholars and has successfully defended five others. She has been a consultant for several start-ups and MSMEs. She is the author of two textbooks for Cengage Pub. and Vikas Pub. Additionally, she has developed study materials for a variety of business-related courses for prominent Indian universities and institutions She has served as a resource person for several MDPs and FDPs related to research and finance. She is an entrepreneur too.
Poshan (Sam) Yu is a multifaceted individual working in various roles and industries. He is a consultant, adjunct professor, keynote speaker, research award winner, editor, author, ad-hoc reviewer, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. In addition to these roles, he is also a guest financial news commentator on over 30 media platforms in China. Sam teaches at the Canada's University of Victoria Program at Soochow University in China and holds the position of an external professor of financial technology and finance at SKEMA Business School, China. He is also a visiting professor at Krirk University in Thailand, EU-Asia research coordinator at the European Business University of Luxembourg, and a visiting researcher at the Australian Studies Centre of Shanghai University, China. Besides, he is a guest professor at Emlyon Business School China and holds an adjunct faculty position at George Washington University's master program at Renmin University of China. Prior to that, Sam taught as a casual academic at the University of South Australia Business School. He was a visiting scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Aug. 2016 and July 2020 – Feb. 2021. Furthermore, Sam is involved with several organizations and holds significant positions. He is a regional partner in China for FasterCapital, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He also serves as a vice president at Tinbowah Investment in Beijing and an honorary vice president at Belt and Road Blockchain Association. Additionally, he is a business mentor for AIC RAISE in Coimbatore, India, Griffith Industry Mentoring Program in Australia and University College London. Apart from his extensive professional network, Sam acts as a marketing manager at CAMathories™. This organization was founded by a group of Cambridge University alumni and faculty members specializing in early childhood education, mathematics, science, and advanced technologies. Sam's research interests are diverse and encompass various topics such as public-private partnerships, financial technology, regulatory technology, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, start-ups, intellectual property, art finance, wine, and China's “One Belt One Road” policy.
