Earlier volumes on artificial higher order neural networks looked at applications in economics and business (2009) and computer science and engineering (2010). Here computer and information scientists, most from Mexico but others from around the world, introduce the networks to people working in modeling and simulation as an open-box artificial neural network tool, rather than traditional artificial neural networks. Their topics include modeling combinatorial optimization problems, artificial polynomial and trigonometric higher order neural network group models, modeling and simulating alternative energy generation processes, the cooperative control of unknown networked Lagrange systems, the theory and implementation of symbolic function network, and city manager compensation and performance.
