Intern Positions
IGI Global is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to work as part-time (flexible hours, no more than 20 hours per week) interns for multiple departments within our company.
Qualified candidates should have high attention to detail, be able to meet established deadlines, and work well independently. All interns will need to possess excellent written and verbal skills.
We welcome experience in the following areas: copy editing and proofreading, online research, data mining, human resource management, public relations, marketing, graphic design, programming, accounting and finance, and project management.
Education Required: Earned (or in the process) bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Accounting, Business Administration, Communications and Journalism, Computer Science, English, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related areas is required.
Staff Accountant
IGI Global is seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic individual to manage the company in its accounting operations. The individual should possess strong organizational, communication skills (written and verbal), and ability to multi-task accounting functions in a small business setting. This position offers tremendous potential for growth and upward mobility within the company. The qualified candidate should have 2+ years of hands-on experience in Accounting.

Editorial Assistant
IGI Global is seeking a motivated and energetic individual with a desire to grow professionally, develop strong communication skills, and work with leading researchers in an editorial capacity. This full-time (40 hours per week) position within the Editorial Content Department at the company’s Hershey office serves as a foundation for developing strong communication, business, editorial, computer, technical, and project management skills while working in a friendly team environment. This position offers tremendous potential for growth and upward mobility within the company. The Editorial Assistant provides support in a variety of editorial and administrative areas including communications with book & journal editors, contributors, and reviewers, along with online research, project tracking, file organization, and some light formatting work. The Editorial Assistant will also have an assigned set of projects to work with, affording a wonderful opportunity to establish a strong rapport with experts in a multitude of fields.
Qualified candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and research skills, and should be able to multi-task, meet established deadlines, and work well independently. Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is preferred. Publishing, copy editing, and online research experience is a plus, but not required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
